FAQS

Looking to bring a Virtual Assistant into your life?

We’ve collated a list of common questions asked by businesses and individuals over the years to help you fill in the gaps before taking this next exciting step.

How do I know if I need a Virtual Assistant?

Take a moment to ask yourself:

Am I feeling stressed? Am I trying to complete a task I either don’t know how to do, or don’t have time to do? Is your business growing more rapidly than you thought? Could you use a few extra hours in the day/week to give back to yourself?

If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions, chances are you will benefit from a virtual assistant!

Will a VA come to my office?

The short answer is YES!

While each individual VA will have their own preferred working methods, most VAs (including Adrienne) will be more than happy to come to your place of work.

This is a great way for VAs to stay connected with you and your business!

When is the best time to hire a VA? Do I need to be just starting out, or already established?

Businesses and individuals can (and should) hire a VA at any stage throughout their business journey!

Whether you’re just starting out, or you’ve been established for 10 years, virtual assistants are a fantastic, cost-effective addition to any team, providing versatile, professional services where you need them the most.

How do I work out how many hours of support I need?

The first step in determining exactly how much support you will need from a VA is to compile a list of all the tasks you could use some assistance with.

From here, the best way forward is to organise an initial consultation with your VA to discuss your requirements.

Your VA will likely provide a recommendation of hours based on their experience, and together you will be able to determine the number of hours required per week, month, or for the duration of your project.

Is there a minimum contract period to hire a VA?

It will vary for each VA.

A virtual assistant’s services are completely tailored to your needs, which includes the scope of work as well as the timeframe in which you require this extra support.

During your initial consultation with Adrienne, you will be able to collectively determine a rough contract period to meet your requirements.

What do I need to provide a VA with to get them started?

We want to get to know you!

Your initial consultation is a brilliant opportunity for Adrienne to get to know you and your business.

We will discuss the brand, your goals, your struggles and exactly how we fit into the mix.

After that, it’s time to get to work. Adrienne will organise all the information required to start working with you and your team.

What type of things can a VA help me with?

From life admin through to the management of corporate projects, a virtual assistant’s services can be incredibly broad.

Adrienne’s services are listed here, and include general administration, social media assistance, email marketing, copywriting, project management and more!

I have an offshore VA, can I still use an Australian-based VA?

Since launching her business in 2016, Adrienne has always believed that both Australia-based and off-shore virtual assistants play a significant role in day-to-day business growth and support.

Virtual assistants, both on and off-shore are able to support businesses in many ways, often simultaneously.

Put simply, we are advocates for doing what’s best for you and finding the right VA to suit your needs.
